Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. Comparable rights exist under Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Virginia (VCDPA), Utah (UCPA), and several other state privacy laws.
Calliope AI does not sell your personal information
We may “share” certain information (such as analytics identifiers, page-view events, and usage patterns) with advertising and analytics partners — currently Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, LinkedIn Insight, Microsoft Clarity, and HubSpot — through our use of third-party analytics and advertising tools. Under California law, this transmission may constitute “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising even though no money changes hands.
How to opt out
Option 1 — Browser-level signal (recommended)
Use a browser that supports Global Privacy Control (GPC) , or install a GPC browser extension. We automatically detect and honor GPC signals on every page — no further action is required. When GPC is on, advertising, ads-personalization, and analytics trackers will not load for your session.
GPC is supported natively in Firefox, Brave, DuckDuckGo, and several others. Chrome and Safari users can install the GPC extension .
Option 2 — Cookie preferences
Click Cookie Preferences in the footer of any page on this site. In the consent banner that appears, select Reject Non-Essential, or individually disable the Analytics and Advertising categories.
Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie and respected on every subsequent visit from the same browser. To change your mind, return to Cookie Preferences at any time.
Option 3 — Email request
Email us at privacy@calliope.ai with the subject line “CPRA Opt-Out Request”. Include the email address you use with Calliope AI so we can match the request to your account. We will process the request within 15 business days as required by California law.
Other privacy rights
In addition to opt-out, California residents have the right to:
- Know — request what categories of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Delete — request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal retention exceptions (e.g., fraud prevention, tax records).
- Correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information — restrict our use of sensitive categories such as precise geolocation or government-ID numbers to what is necessary to provide the service.
- Non-discrimination — exercise these rights without being charged a different price or receiving a different level of service.

Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. We will require written proof of the agent’s authorization and may verify your identity directly. Send authorized-agent requests to privacy@calliope.ai .
Residents outside California
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction with a comparable privacy law (GDPR, UK GDPR, LGPD, etc.), see Section 11 of our Privacy Policy for the equivalent rights and how to exercise them, or email privacy@calliope.ai .
Verification
To prevent fraudulent or malicious requests, we verify your identity before fulfilling access, deletion, or correction requests. For opt-out of sale/sharing requests, no verification is required — we honor them on receipt.
We may need to ask you to confirm the email address on file or, for higher-risk requests, provide additional information to match you to an account. We do not retain verification information beyond the time required to process the request.
